product introduction
FTTH Indoor Drop Cable is a special optical cable used to introduce optical fiber from the corridor access point to the user's home in the construction of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network.

Product features
Low Attenuation
FTTH indoor drop cable uses high-quality quartz glass core and has extremely low transmission loss. For example, the attenuation of G.657 optical fiber at 1310nm and 1550nm wavelengths does not exceed 0.36 dB/km and 0.22 dB/km respectively. In contrast, the attenuation of traditional copper cables, such as Cat6 network cables, at 100MHz can reach 22 dB/100m. This low attenuation characteristic ensures that the signal can maintain high strength even during long-distance transmission.
High Bandwidth
FTTH indoor drop cable has a high bandwidth capacity. Taking OM4 multimode optical fiber as an example, its effective modal bandwidth at 850nm wavelength can reach 4700 MHz·km. In contrast, the bandwidth-length product of Cat6A high-end copper cable is only 550 MHz·100m. This means that a single FTTH optical fiber can support high-speed transmission of 10Gbps or even 100Gbps, which is enough to meet the needs of high-bandwidth applications such as 8K video streaming.
Anti-electromagnetic Interference
FTTH indoor home optical cable adopts a full dielectric structure without any metal components. Therefore, even in a strong electromagnetic field environment (such as near a high-power motor or transformer), the signal quality of the FTTH optical cable will not be affected. However, under an electric field strength of 100 V/m, the signal quality of ordinary UTP copper cable may be severely degraded, and the signal-to-noise ratio may drop by 15-20 dB.
