1. How to log in to the 8145V5 Fiber ONU's management interface?

This is the first step in managing your device. Please follow these steps:

Connect the device: Connect your computer to any LAN port (labeled 1-4) of the optical modem using an Ethernet cable, or connect to the Wi-Fi network provided by the modem.

Access address: Open a browser (such as Chrome or Edge), enter the management interface IP address in the address bar: http://192.168.100.1, and press Enter.

Enter credentials: On the login page, enter the username "admin". The default login password is usually printed on a sticker on the bottom or side of the optical modem (it may be labeled "Initial Password" or "PWD").

2. How to change the 8145V5 Fiber ONU's Wi-Fi name and password?

To ensure network security, it is strongly recommended to change the default wireless network settings.

First, log in to the management interface using the method described above.

Once logged in, find menus such as "Network" -> "WLAN Configuration" or "Wi-Fi Settings".

On this page, you can configure the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands separately:

SSID Name: This is the name displayed on your Wi-Fi network.

Encryption Method and Password: For security, please select WPA2-PSK or a higher encryption level and set a strong password of at least 8 characters.

3. What do the indicator lights on the 8145V5 Fiber ONU mean?

The indicator lights can quickly determine the device status:

PON/Registration Light (solid green): Indicates that the fiber optic line is normal and has been successfully registered on the operator's network. Flashing or red usually indicates a line or registration failure.

LOS Light (off): Indicates normal operation. If the red light flashes, it indicates an optical path interruption (e.g., the fiber optic cable is not properly plugged in or the line is damaged).

LAN Light (flashing): Network data activity on the corresponding port is normal. Solid light indicates the port is connected but there is no data; no light indicates no device is connected to the port.

Wireless/Wi-Fi Light (solid or flashing): Indicates that the wireless function is enabled. Off indicates that the wireless function is disabled.

Power indicator light (solid green): Indicates the device is powered normally.
