Classified by interface
According to the type of port, it can be classified into the following categories:
SC Fiber Optic Attenuator: Applied to SC fiber optic interfaces, it looks similar to RJ-45 interfaces, but the SC interface appears flatter. The obvious difference lies in the contacts inside. If there are 8 thin copper contacts, it is an RJ-45 interface, and if there is a copper pillar, it is an SC fiber optic interface.
LC Fiber Optic Attenuator: A connector used for LC fiber optic interfaces and connecting SFP modules. It is made using a modular jack (RJ) latch mechanism that is easy to operate. (Commonly used routers)
FC Fiber Optical Attenuator: Applied to FC fiber optic interfaces, the external reinforcement method is to use a metal sleeve, and the fastening method is a screw buckle. Usually used on the ODF side (most commonly on distribution frames)
ST fiber optic attenuator: applied to ST fiber optic interfaces, commonly used in fiber optic distribution frames, with a circular shell and fastened with screw buckles. (For 10Base-F connections, connectors are usually ST type. Commonly used in fiber optic patch panels)
