Construction requirements for optical cable lines

Fiber optic cable laying method

The laying methods of communication optical cables are generally divided into three types: pipeline, direct burial, and overhead laying.

1, Implementation requirements for optical cable line engineering

(1) Basic requirements

1. General requirements

(1) Before the implementation of the line project, a re measurement should be carried out according to the design drawings to re measure the length of the line route and the position of the manhole. In areas where the route is blocked or there are potential safety hazards to the line due to changes in the external environment during retesting, timely feedback should be given to the construction and design units, and adjustments and implementation should be made after issuing a design change notice.

(2) Before construction, reasonable allocation of fiber optic cable reels should be carried out according to the length and routing of the reels. It should be laid in the order of reel numbers as much as possible to reduce the intrinsic loss of joints caused by differences in fiber optic parameters; The standard length of a single fiber optic cable reel is 2km for pipeline fiber optic cables, 3km for overhead fiber optic cables, and 3km for buried fiber optic cables; The length of a single cable near the station should not be less than 500 meters, and the use of short fiber optic cables is strictly prohibited.

(3) The minimum curvature radius for optical cable laying and installation should meet the requirements in the following table:

Minimum allowable bending radius index table for optical cables

Optical cable outer protective layer form | No outer protective layer or 04 type | 53, 54, 33, 34 type | 333, 43 type |

After installation (static bending) | 10 times the outer diameter of the optical cable | 12.5 times the outer diameter of the optical cable | 15 times the outer diameter of the optical cable |

During installation (dynamic bending) | 20 times the outer diameter of the optical cable | 25 times the outer diameter of the optical cable | 30 times the outer diameter of the optical cable |

(4) The laying of pipeline optical cables must be strictly arranged according to the designated pipe hole positions in the design. Sub pipes should be inserted into the holes of corrugated pipes and steel pipes, and the total outer diameter of the sub pipes should not exceed the inner diameter of the original pipe hole
