- Installation
1. Firstly, our original power adapter. Here, you can see the model number, trial voltage and current, manufacturer information, and service life on the power adapter. It should be noted here that the original power adapter must be used to connect the optical modem, otherwise the optical modem is prone to damage.
2. Insert the power socket of the original power adapter into the power socket, and plug the round head socket on the other end into the power socket of Huawei Fiber Cat. The power indicator light is now on, and the fault indicator light is red, indicating that the fiber optic signal is not working.
3. Now remove the protective cover from the fiber optic interface (note that the fiber optic interface should be kept clean and free of dust, otherwise it will affect the signal quality), and then plug it into the fiber optic jack of the fiber optic modem.
4. Then plug one end of the RJ-45 Ethernet cable with a crystal head into the internal network socket of the fiber optic modem, and plug the other end into the network cable socket of the computer. The connection is now complete.
5. Let's take a look at the power indicator light. The power indicator light is displaying normally, and the fiber optic indicator light is also flashing, indicating that there is a signal.
- Setting up
1. Use the default address to enter the fiber optic modem settings page. Generally, the default address is 192.168.100.1, and the username and password can be found behind the device. After successful login, you can access the internet. If you can't set it up, just buy it there and let the installation technician set it up.
